Organic Chemistry Tutor Unit Cell

Organic Chemistry Tutor Unit CellIn my opinion, the best place to learn chemistry is from a tutor-unit cell. If you are trying to learn chemical and organic chemistry, this will be the place that you go to get your information from. A tutor will be able to help you go through the information and help you understand how the information is put together so that you can understand what it is that you are learning. To get you started, there are a couple of things that you should look for when looking for an organic chemistry tutor. The first thing that you need to do is to find someone who can give you his or her name and address so that you can contact them at any time. You need to know who the person is and you also need to make sure that the person is credible because in this day and age it is not uncommon for people to ask for personal information. The second thing that you need to look for in a tutor is experience. Sometimes, you can't just sit down and learn from someone who has been teaching for twenty years because it might seem like they have done the same thing that you are about to learn. If the tutor has more than ten years of experience, then you can usually consider that they are an expert.Another thing that you need to look for in a tutor is their educational background. It might be a good idea to ask if they have attended graduate school, attended a good high school or if they have a college degree. If they have some sort of technical training in the field of chemistry, then it will be much easier for you to study with them. When you look into a tutor, make sure that you also find out if he or she has one on one instruction. Usually, the tutors teach one on one and will come to you and guide you through all of the information that you are learning. It is not unusual for a tutor to tutor other students but only one at a time so that they can help you understand it all better. One of the things that you need to look for when you go to find a tutor is if th ey have access to a lab. Most labs have a lab technician that will accompany the tutor to the laboratory and he or she will also explain all of the equipment that is used to help you learn chemistry. There is nothing worse than going to a lecture and not being able to understand the information that is being given to you.Whether you are trying to learn organic chemistry by yourself or if you are going to take chemistry for a college level, you will benefit from taking a tutor unit. A tutor will give you the information that you need and they will give you the tools that you need to be successful. No matter how experienced a teacher you are, if you don't know how to go about studying, then you will not be successful.

You Do Grieve When You Lose a Job - Introvert Whisperer

Introvert Whisperer / You Do Grieve When You Lose a Job - Introvert Whisperer You Do Grieve When You Lose a Job I’ll put it to you straight.   Getting laid off or fired hurts.   A lot.   It hurts even if you didn’t like the job or the boss. The reason it hurts is because you made an emotional investment in your job.   Its a big part of how you spend your life and even with bad jobs, we bring a piece of us to it every day.   It has many of the same characteristics of a relationship.   That’s why it’s hard to leave a job, just like a relationship. But when leaving your job isn’t your choice, you are facing loss and rejection.   Those are two of life’s biggest fears.   Only now it’s not a fear any longer; its reality and a painful reality you have to figure out how to get through. There are several things you have to realize about the impact getting laid off has on you. This is a very real loss. It’s right up there with the death of a loved one.   Many people think maybe you “shouldn’t” feel bad but that is totally wrong thinking.   No one but you can judge the depth of hurt and loss but you.     We experience many losses in life with the biggest being death but there is loss of financial security, loss of your home, health, safety and beloved pets.   I read a study one time and the loss of a job was about 3rd from the top with death of a loved one being the first and loss of freedom through incarceration being second.   Since most people never experience being thrown in jail, it makes losing a job right up there as one of the worst forms of loss. You may grieve. With loss comes grief and it sticks to you like a rogue piece of bubble gum.   You just can’t seem to shake it and shows up at very strange times.   Just know you’re normal. Don’t let anyone smother you with platitudes of “It’s only a job” or “You’ll get over it when you get another job” or “Time heals all wounds”. That’s horse manure.   Those sayings will only cause you to hide rather than process your hurt.   I have found the older version of “stages of grief” to be wrong and unhelpful.   To help you process any loss, I suggest looking into books and work done by Russell Friedman and griefrecoverymethod.com They acknowledge loss, all kinds of loss and take you through a process to help through their books and methods. In addition to what I suggested, if you can, spend a bit of time taking care of yourself. Many people jump into a frenzy of job searching work and I can understand the reaction (especially if you have financial concerns) but if you can- do nice things for you.   Don’t overindulge in abusiveness (drugs or alcohol) but take long walks, hit a hot tub or get a massage. Don’t tough this out alone. Many people do but it’s not a healthy way to move through the process. I had a woman write me about the impact of losing her job.   She told me about how she reacted after getting a letter of “position elimination”.   She didn’t see it coming and was devastated.   She outlined how from that point forward she has never allowed herself to put personal items in her office. She never made her office a home. It was like she symbolically has kept herself ready to leave her job.   Often our outside mirrors our inside and I think her story recaps some of what you should consider.   We do have to be ready to change jobs for whatever life throws our way. Dividing mixed fractions - Online Tutoring

Dividing mixed fractions - Online Tutoring Dividing mixed fractions can be easily done in few simple steps. We know that mixed fraction is made up of whole number and a fraction. In order to divide mixed fraction they must be converted into improper fraction. The following steps to be followed in dividing mixed fractions.Convert each mixed fraction into improper fraction.Put the reciprocal of the divisor and multiply with the fraction in the numerator.Simplify the answer if possible. Convert the result into mixed fraction if it is an improper fraction Example 1: Divide: 9 by 3 . Solution: First convert mixed fraction into improper fraction 9 = (36 + 1) /4 = 37/4 3 = (6 + 1) /2 = 7/2 9 / 3 = (37/4) / (7/2) Now, reciprocal the divisor and multiply with the numerator fraction 9 / 3 = (37/4) / (7/2) = (37/4)* (2/7) Then multiply the numerators and multiply the denominators (37/4)* (2/7) = 74 / 28 Simplify the answer if possible 74 / 28 = 37/14 This is in improper fraction so convert it into mixed fraction 37/14 = 2 9/14. Example 2: Divide 5 by 1 Solution: Convert the fractions into improper fractions 5 = 11/2 and 1 =7/4 Invert the divisor (7/4) = 4/7 Now multiply with the fraction 11/2, 11/2 * 4/7 = 44 / 14 Simplify it, 44/14 = 22/7 (divide by 2 on both sides) The answer is in improper fraction. So convert it into mixed fraction 22/7 = 3 1/7.

7 Easy Networking Tips When there is NO Time to Network - Introvert Whisperer

Introvert Whisperer / 7 Easy Networking Tips When there is NO Time to Network - Introvert Whisperer 7 Easy Networking Tips When there is NO Time to Network Does This Sound Familiar? When networking is the least favorite thing to do, all it takes is a tiny kink in the schedule for networking to fall off the list. Sound familiar? Networking can take a lot of time but with some thoughtful planning can be an ongoing, painless process with very little schedule impact. Networking does not have to mean attending every after-work event, or going out for drinks with colleagues. Those activities are great but do take hours of precious time. Here are some simple tips to support networking without calendar stress: Network on the job. Most of the time our job is filled with co-workers, vendors, contractors, and customers. We don’t think about these people but we are all surrounded by a “target rich” environment and don’t always notice. Simply stop each day to spend a bit of time with someone out of the daily flow of work. Put it on your schedule. Sticky notes tend to get ignored and memory is unreliable. Start by scheduling 15 minutes twice a week for networking. This is the same amount of time it takes to get a latte (maybe less). Use lunch and coffee breaks. It is all too easy to get into a rut at work. Use open times to deliberately interact with people at work that is not in the normal workflow contact. The only way to develop a deeper relationship is by spending time and getting to know the other person. Use time-saving communication. Pinging someone in e-mail or a text is a great way of keeping in contact without taking up too much time. It lets the other person know you are thinking of them. Consider forming a group. Ever hear of “Two birds with one stone”? Rather than meeting up with one person at a time, meet with a handful of people at once. A lot of ground can get covered with relationship building in small, hand-picked groups. This is a big time-saver. As an introvert, this is more satisfying because these aren’t strangers; which means you will have a better point of reference for discussion. Also, people who act as connectors are historically more successful. This is a good practice to get into. Expand through existing friends. Rather than the exhausting activity of going to a networking event, start asking friends to make introductions of people they know. The great thing about these connections is that friends will screen people and make introductions they think make sense. It’s a little like a blind date but without the romantic entanglement. Pay attention. In the normal course of a day, we encounter many people we rarely pay attention to. These people could easily expand a network and there is a natural opportunity to build the relationship. An example of this might be going to a place regularly like a local Starbuck or gym. Many people tend to have the same type of habit of frequenting a place at the same time of day. Look around and study people you see. Some of these people could easily become part of your network by paying attention to them and routinely interacting with them. The great thing is, no extra time going somewhere that’s already part of the schedule. With very little effort, the expansion and ongoing nurturing of your network can easily take place. While these are often the most expensive, they're also the most cost-effective because your tutor is focused on you for every minute of the session. This also means that the sessions are planned with you in mind.Online tutorials are cheaper than face-to-face private tutorials because the tutor doesn't have to factor in travel costs. These tutorials are done remotely over webcam by using a service such as Skype. While these types of tutorials are usually better for academic subjects rather than physical ones, you can still get tutors teaching you Zumba using this method. Finally, there are group tutorials. Group tutorials are more like your typical dance classes London. Generally, these are cheaper than private tutoria ls as the cost is shared amongst the students attending the class. Of course, this means that your tutor isn't just focused on you and the lessons won't be tailored to just you as they have other students to keep happy as well.So are you ready to start Zumba?

5 Talented Singers You Can Learn From in 2016

5 Talented Singers You Can Learn From in 2016 Suzy S. Ready to make 2016 your best year yet? Many vocalists stood out last year, and looking at their strategies and success stories can be a great source of inspiration especially if you want to be famous someday! Read on as voice teacher Molly R. shares her thoughts   2015 was a stellar year for lots of talented and famous singers. It seemed like you couldnt go anywhere without hearing about Taylor Swift and Adele, just to name two that stand out. Singers like those two generated a lot of buzz, and who wouldn’t want that? As we dive into 2016, its a great time to reflect on your goals as a singer. Do you want to be a famous singer someday? Do you want to start small, and overcome your stage fright? Do you want to learn how to write a song? Whatever your goals may be, theres a lot you can learn from the big artists of the past year. Here are some ways you can incorporate their major successes into your own New Year’s singer resolutions! Artist: Hozier What You Can Learn: Collaborate If you want to become a well-known singer within the music industry, your work is never done. Once you get yourself out there, you need to keep  yourself out there! To get extra buzz, many artists create more performance opportunities by collaborating with other singers which can be especially effective if its unexpected pairing. You can learn a lot from Irish singer Hozier; check out his electrifying Grammy performance with Annie Lennox here: On a smaller scale, you could ask another singer to be your duet partner for karaoke, or perhaps get a small group of singers together and put together a cabaret night! Artist:  Adele What You Can Learn: Know when to rest It’s tempting to say “yes” to everything, especially when you are just starting out. It’s great to be passionate about singing, but remember you’re human! You only get one voice, so be careful with it. Just look at  Adele, the hottest artist of the year: she underwent major vocal surgery a few years ago, yet didnt jump back into performing right away because she wanted to take her time healing. Not only thatâ€" she has also become a proud mom and wanted to put family first! Make it a goal to have balance in your life. Feeling worn out after a run of another musical, even though there’s another one holding auditions for vocalists next week? Ask yourself if you need a break, and really listen to your body. Artist:  Taylor Swift What You Can Learn: Market yourself You may have heard the advice “you gotta have a gimmick!” Thats originally from the musical “Gypsy”, and its often true! Being a talented singer is one thing, but what makes you interesting to your audience? Singers need to be savvy about marketing themselves. Taylor Swift happens to be brilliant at this. We should all look to her as an expert on a variety of things! She has revamped her image completely (country to pop!), she’s always out and about with her huge fan base, and how about that “squad” of hers? Ok, so a lot of that’s pretty hard to do if you’re well not Taylor. But heres what you CAN do: get out there in your community! Offer to sing at fundraisers, nursing homes, and so on. Show that you’re a singer with character who cares about a few causes. And yes, why not build up a “squad” of your own? Make this squad filled with trusted accompanists, like voice teachers, dancers, and other singers. Connecting with a group of like-minded artists is essential for your growth! Artists:  Tori Kelly and Shawn Mendes What You Can Learn: Keep plugging away YouTube is where today’s singer hopes to be noticed. But youll want to have a strategy in mind. Are your videos high quality? Are you posting good content? How often? What are you doing to promote your music videos? How about your audience what are you doing to grow them? Are you cross-promoting across other social media channels, like Twitter and Instagram? These are the important questions to ask. To get inspired, take a look at the success story of Tori Kelly! She was eliminated from American Idol, but took matters into her own hands and built up a huge YouTube following. Shawn Mendes, another great artist to learn from, got his start on Vine and now has a top 10 hit and a recording contract. Of course, youre not restricted to finding an audience online, or with one of those platforms specifically. The key is to keep plugging awayâ€" in any medium! Whether it’s YouTube or a local coffee shop, keep giving your best to your audience. Now put your learning into practice! No matter what your resolution is as a singer, remember to bring your best vocally every time. Look at what other successful and famous singers are doing, and find what you can learn from them. Working with a great voice teacher is also key he or she can help you become a better singer, and may even have insider advice or a network to connect you with. Happy New Year, and happy singing! Tutorfair Dyslexia Training Day

Tutorfair Dyslexia Training Day “Great starter. Just leaves you wanting more!” 25 of our top tutors received top-notch training on how to best-serve students with dyslexia. They spent the day with British Dyslexia Association instructor Brenda Ferrie learning about what it’s like to have dyslexia, how students with dyslexia learn, and how to support these students in a one-to-one context. Tutors who attended our first ever dyslexia training day teach everything from English, literacy and foreign languages, to maths and science. They feel more confident and more informed about their students’ needs. One of the key takeaways from the day was the importance of early intervention for students with learning difficulties, and the serious impact that a tutor can have on a child’s future by shaping how they approach learning for life. Our tutors know how to play to the strengths of dyslexia, in addition to addressing weaknesses. For example, while dyslexia is associated with auditory, memory, and speed problems, it is also associated with better than average visualising, lateral thinking, verbal communication and problem solving skills. As such, tutors learned that processes, such as maths, should be taught with visuals rather than oral explanations. Reading and spelling should be taught orthographically, not just phonologically. The black text helps us understand how difficult reading can be if you had dyslexia. (The red text is the interpretation) Tutors are also familiar with common signs of dyslexia, something they may be in a better position to spot than a classroom teacher. Students with visual troubles may rub their eyes, complain of their eyes being tired, or cover one eye while trying to read. Students may, more generally, struggle to recall instructions, or doing things in order (as sequencing is difficult). To address this sequencing difficulty (trouble putting things in order), tutors were given a very useful planning strategy. By creating a diagram with 6 boxes, and labelling them “start, Next….End”, tutors give students the space to write down ideas as they occur, rather than forcing students to think in order from beginning to end. This allows students to hold on to and use their creative ideas instead of losing a good idea because they didn’t think of it at the ‘right time’. This visual lay-out also allows students to easily see when their plan is complete, or what has yet to be done. Armed with specific strategies and a deep understanding of the causes and processes of dyslexia, our tutors are prepared to give students the support and knowledge they need to make the most of their future and fully access their education today, tomorrow, and for life. “This morning gave me unexpected insight into living and learning with dyslexia. I now have increased awareness and understanding of how it might feel to be coping with learning with dyslexia. For this reason alone the session was rewarding and well worth attending. Thank you for arranging this for us.” “Thank you for organising this; having access to Continued Professional Development through Tutorfair is definitely something that will make me recommend you to parents looking for a tutor/fellow teachers looking for tutoring work.” “A real eye opener for me as I...am coming across it more and more and so this session was invaluable. Thank you.”
